Why are all romance books involved with vampires nowadays?

Posted on March 13th, 2010 by admin

It seems that all romance books have to do with vampires and vice versa. Is there some sorta sexual thing with vampires? And why are the vampires in them all generic teen vampires?

Because of Twilight. It’s just a fad. It’ll pass, I hope.

Because there’s no more originality in the world. It’s very upsetting.

I guess because people are bored with humans. We are pretty boring lol. Boy falls in love with a girl. Quite predictable.

Yeah, the lack of originality. Also they’re probably thinking since Twilight came out that their books will also sell better.

It’s because of that (for lack of a better word) book, Twilight. One author thought teen vampires made a great love story and her book succeeded, so now everyone else suddenly has a great idea: teen vampire romance. It’s called unoriginality and no imagination. It’s also called tweenage girls who want to write just like their hero (in this case, I’m sorry to say, Stephenie Meyer).

The same thing happens with all popular ideas. They get used. After Harry Potter first came out, everyone suddenly had the ingenious idea of writing about wizards. Now it’s happening with Twilight. It’s awful.
