okay so im 13, and im in 6th grade (got held back when i was younger, im actually really smart :p) umm anyways, im sick so that’s why im even on the computer. i guess u could say im a really pretty girl, but i dont care what i loook like, and if guys think im pretty, i get asked out alot, but like i think the whole dating thing in 6th grade, is just plane old stupid, ahah as u can see im really mature,but, there is this boy, we r best friends, we got split apart, and he went to a dif school, and we wont see each other til high school. see, im inlove with him, i know im way to young, but, there is nothing compared to him, he cares about me, he seee’s what’s inside of me, he isn’t like most guys,most guys in 6th grade only care if a girl is "hot". but this guy, makes me smile. and my friends keep telling me everytime we see each other at football games, that he looks at me differently, and only pays attention to me, see, he knows that i love him, and he said he did to, but now he is dening that he likes me, he says im really pretty and that he just doesn’t want a gf.i can date when im 17, it depends how mature i am, my dad trusts me, he just doesn’t trust the guys, which he knows i will NEVER do what he is thinking, bc when i do somthing bad there is a big voice saying stop, and wont leave me alone. but he just isn’t compared to the other guys,i don’t care that much about looks, well looks come secound to me. but, i want to go out with him so bad. and i dont know what to do,people tell me all the time, that his best friend keeps teling my bff that he likes me. i just kinda wanna get over hium, but how can i? i tried, i tried to get a new guy, i did, but it turned out, all he wanted to do is makeout with me, like im like some kinda play toy, but im not ganna let a guy disrespect me. anyways my BF (best friend) said that the reason he likes me is that im beautiful on the inside and out, and, idk how, i just love life, the wind is soo beautiful, and just everything is beautiful, i love everyone,. but i dont get if he can tell one of his best friends he likes me. why can’t he tell me? i asked one of his bf’s if he liked me and he said he couldn’t tell. he just is a one of a life time chance. im just really confused, my friend tells me to follow my heart, and my other best friend, tells me she doesn’t want to see me get hurt, like my BFF malayna. and im really strong, iv watched him be with another girl, and at one point he was ganna leave her. but i just want u to give me ur advice, on what to do. thank u.

As pethetic as it might sound I only reasondly went on my second real date in my life (I did have boyfriends before I’m not that bad) with this very nice guy. I’m 19 and he is 21. I’m all confused at how it is suppose to work and what is suppose to happen, when is it suppose to happen….. I’m not always a patient woman but I can wait if I have to or want to. You know, on myspace and facebook, there is a distinction between looking for "dating" and "a relationship." I just want to know the difference. Because seriously, when you ask a girl out on a date, doesnt she assume you want a relationship? Because, if not, then she should not be mad when you break up with her and just say that you were just interested in dating. Basically what is the purpose of dating if you aren’t interested in a long term relationship? someone is going to get hurt in the end.

To me the differences are totally opposite. I think all relationships should start out on a dating mode and then become serious later on if that what happens. Having a good time in life is the essence of life itself and it doesn’t pay to get hung up right off the bat with a person on a date. Now if this happened to be a LDR then things are a bit different and those characteristics are outlined in my free report located in the source section below.

I’m already dating a guy from work and we have a great relationship except that nobody at work knows and there are rumors about me dating other guys at work. They know I’m dating but because I don’t say who they speculate and that’s how rumors start. They also tell my bf that he should date so and so. Anyway, what would be the pros of letting people know who am I dating and what would be the cons?

i think just the rumors and gossip are just getting to ya…you just have to pay attention to your life and your bf. don’t listen to what people are saying around at work…thats what THEY think and it shouldn’t interfere your relationship with him. ignore those comments and let your life be private…if you don’t, your just gonna get caught up into jealousy and eventually its gonna ruin the relationship sooner or later

I’m just wondering what are some good ways to start dating? I’m a bit of a shy person, so at age 25, it’s starting to get a bit hopeless thinking maybe I’m starting to get uglier by the year. So I’m just wondering good ways to start dating again? I tried online dating services with no luck. I’m hearing impaired so I really can’t go to bars and stuff, but one to one conversations work very well to a certain extent.

Any ideas?

1. Let the person you are talking to know that you have a hearing problem. Ask them to speak clearly not more loudly. They will understand and work with you in this respect. " I know I have a hearing problem and wear hearing aids in both ears."
#2. I know they are expensive but get your self digital hearing aids and that will help a lot also. Some have adjustments for noisey areas such as resturants and another adjustment for road noise while riding in car. " That is the type I have and they work quite well."

I would say most of my dates (80-90%) come from online dating sites since it is more convenient (although I do not want to be dependent on it). However, some sites are riddled with spammers, so it definitely has it’s faults.

The traditional way of meeting people (face to face at parties, etc.) is still probably preferred.

What is your take on this? Which method do you prefer and what proportion of your dates come from online sites?

In my time, I’ve met plenty of girls online but it never seem like dating. It seemed like a hook-up for sex only. However, doing more online dating than meeting a nice woman the normal way, such as in the mall or at a cafe, will make you lose your style with approaching women. Lower your percentage of online dating and increase your confidence in approaching women.
