What are some good paranormal romance books?

Posted on October 30th, 2009 by admin

I really enjoy reading Kresley Cole’s books. Other than that, I can’t seem to find any good paranormal romance novels. I’ve heard that Sherrilyn Kenyon is good, but I tried reading her "Dark Side of the Moon" book, and I hated it. Not sure if that represents the rest of her work though. Any good book/author reccomendations would be greatly appreciated!

For Sherrilyn Kenyon you have to start with "Fantasy Lover" and "Night Pleasures". IMHO they are the best (and the first two) of her dark hunter series. "Dark Side of the Moon" was not really a very good example of this wonderful series.

You should also try J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood books because they are incredible! The first book is called "Dark Lover" but my favorites are "Lover Eternal" and "Lover Revealed".

I like Christine Feehan’s Carpathian books which starts with "Dark Prince" (yes, lots of these books seem to have the word "dark" in them!).

You could also try Mona Lisa Awakening and Mona Lisa Blossoming by Sunny which were really very good. However, I have to warn you that they are a bit more graphic than the mainstream paranormal romance stories.

Rhonda Thompson has the Wild Wulfs of London series about werewolves. The books are a mix of historical/paranormal romance. I’ve enjoyed those books so far too.

If you want something a bit lighter than the ones previously mentioned you could try Katie MacAlister who has a vampire series (I think "Sex and the Single Vampire" is the first book but I’m not absolutely sure) and her Aisling Grey Guardian series which the first book is called "You Slay Me".

Also Stephenie Rowe has some humorous paranormal romances. The first of the series is called "Date Me Baby, One More Time".

Hope you find something you like :-)

How come women never email guys first on dating sites?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

Im wondering why a very attractive guy never gets a response from the 3 largest dating sites online? Are women so conceited on online dating sites that they cant email a guy first? Do they lack the confidence or skills needed to communicate in a adult sort of fashion?

life’s a b!tch ain’t it.

Trust me, if men were even HALF as sexually repressed as women, the human population would drop in half.

Why do you think women, generally don’t rape men ?

For Halo 3 which maps do i need to play most matchmaking games?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

In matchmaking, the only thing i can play is team slayer. I know you have to buy maps to play everything else. Which ones do I need? I don’t want to spend to much money on the packs.

All DLC really… Without any DLC (except the Free Ones) you only get two matchmaking choices

I have been trying to use every Nigerian zip code I know to sign up on yahoo personals but the options it gives me are limited to the USA and Canada. I hate having to post a location that’s not real and I really want to sign up. Pls help.

Well if you use it from another country you would be better off…just make sure people know where you are from…type where you are from and post it.

In the Romantic Period, why did writers begin to focus more on the indivual rather than the general?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

was there a change in the world that made these authors change from writing about the general (i.e. in the 18th century) to writing more about personal feelings in the Romantic Period?

It followed the Neoclassical era, which was very serious, logical, and always dealt with the masses. If society was happy, man too could be happy. The Romantic period drifted away from that. It focused on art and inner expression, something that the Neoclassical era shunned. The Romantic era was more along the lines of…if man can be happy, society can follow suit.

What do men and women mainly lie about on online dating websites?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

Online dating mainly doesn’t work because most people, both men and women, lie about themselves.

So what are main things that both men and women lie about on online dating websites?

Age…. well, pretty much everything.

What is the best adult dating site to date?

Posted on October 23rd, 2009 by admin

I’m starting to think most of the adult dating sites out there are full of bot profiles. When I sign up for the first time I usually get a lot of false promesses responses. I would check the profiles date to find out this member didn’t sign in for months.

I don’t understand why you would resort to an adult dating site. If you are serious about dating, there are tons of different ways to do that. Remember this, all of those adult sites are in business to do one thing, and that is to make money. They have absolutely no interest to match you up, or to make sure you score. They will show you that they are, but in actuality, their interests are to make money.
Find a good club, go look for a social scene and if you get off your computer, you may find the perfect girl……face to face!
